Your resume is arguably one of the most important documents you own. It communicates your qualifications and your brand – who you are and what makes you different – to employers and recruiters. Without it, you can’t land your dream job. Hiring a professional resume writer is an investment in your future.
RESUME REVIEW
A resume review is a service in which your resume is reviewed to find areas that you can improve and to provide suggestions to help you maximize the impact your resume has. You will be responsible for taking the provided feedback and incorporating it into your resume. Typical turnaround for this service is about 3-5 days.
INTERVIEW COACHING
Interviewees learn how to answer different types of interview questions, how to prepare for an interview, communication skills, and how to appear confident during their interviews. This is designed for individuals who are unfamiliar with the interview process or those who wish to understand how they can best be prepared for an upcoming interview. Sessions are typically 30 mins long.
RESUME WRITING
The resume writing process begins with me getting to know you and learning about your history, education, experience and career aspirations. After getting to know you, I will write a first draft of your resume which will be delivered to you in about a week. You will then have one week to review and provide feedback, with up to two rounds of revisions. Overall, the resume writing process takes about two weeks.
MOCK INTERVIEWS
A mock interview is a training exercise that simulates a job interview. In other words, it is a practice interview that mimics a real interview. It allows the interviewee to create effective responses, work on nonverbal communication skills, and become familiar with interview settings. Interview practice can boost your confidence during important interviews by helping you refine your interview skills. The interviewee will be provided feedback on how to improve their performance for a real interview.
